America has not yet figured out that we shouldn't be where we're not wanted....

The Middle East has been a smoldering volcano that erupts often...and often with terrible consequences. The wisdom is to KNOW THIS...and to understand the underlying arguments from EACH SIDE....That being said...as Americans....as people who are basically peace loving...though some unfortunately are easily blinded by rightwing, war mongering rhetoric...we have the tendency to push our “way of life” on others...not really understanding that we are ONLY about 200 years old....and we're trying to push our lifestyle, our values, our customs and our form of democracy (as broken and as apparently corrupt as it is) on countries that have been around THOUSANDS OF YEARS....

Our Middle Eastern foreign policy...and for the most part...our ENTIRE foreign policy for that matter has been a disastrous failure for many years!

Our country has tried to remain open to allow peace loving, freedom loving peoples from around the world...an opportunity to come here...to live and work here...to go to school here...to perhaps become citizens here....but the fact remains....not everyone WANTS to come here...OR be an American....Sadly...some think America is the devil....

Her response is chilling....and IMO only proves that we should STAY OUT of Middle East politics...and start restricting exactly WHO we allow in this country FOR ANY REASON....because the collateral effects of our political meddling AND our lax scrutiny of people crossing our borders has dire consequences.....

It saddens me to report to those of you who have not yet heard...Countdown with Keith Olbermann is no more...
Last night Keith Olbermann abruptly and surprisingly announced that it would be his final show...even as the network continued to advertise Keith and his show hours after it was over. It was no secret that Keith was a champion of truth...and an advocate for the left, particularly the less fortunate of main street. He was a shining light at the front of the battle between the right wingnut, rethuglican neocon, tea baggers and the left, liberals, or commonly referred to as "We the people of Main Street"

He will be sorely missed, for he was a commanding and formidable force against the rightwing lies perpetrated by right wing media, the flush limpdogs, bill oreallys, and shun handilys of the world. Speculation has it that his exit from MSN-BS was instigated by the merger of comcast and nbc....I'm guessing that even Stevie Wonder saw it coming...

I hope Mr. Olbermann ends up landing on his feet (I'm sure he will) but it is my greatest hope that he will continue to aid in getting the truth to the American People! Last night, a True American Patriot was felled by the rightwingnut neocons....it is my hope and the hope of millions of his followers that he returns to the airwaves to continue the never ending battle of "Truth, Justice, and the America Way!

Sooo....You want to fix the banking/credit crisis?...

If you're serious....Make it a law that ALL lending institutions must maintain a ONE to ONE lending ratio...NOT 13 to 1. They MUST maintain a dollar in reserve for every dollar they lend!

MAKE IT ILLEGAL FOR A BANK OR LENDING INSTITUTION TO ATTEMPT TO LEND MONEY THEY DON’T HAVE!...AND PUNISH THOSE THAT ATTEMPT TO CIRCUMVENT THE LAW WITH FINES, IMPRISONMENT, AND A SHUTTERING OF THEIR BUSINESSES!
IT’S A VERY SIMPLE AND HONEST CONCEPT!

Lending/credit is a game...no money exchanges hands....Banks/lending institutions basically shuffle numbers NOT MONEY...they "cook the books"....and they GAMBLE on the success AND failures of the borrowers ability to repay the loan....

It USED to be a pretty good gamble for them because they will take/seize their pound of flesh (collateral) from people who can't repay...

The housing collapse made everyone say WTF?....WHY?....Because what was once considered “sound” collateral...turned into "toxic assets"...or that's what they (the lending institutions) wanted you to believe....where are all those toxic assets?...supposedly only worth a few pennies on the dollar?....try finding them....it's a shell game being played by banks and wall street...pennies on the dollar means a $500K house is worth 10K....Find one...I defy you....THIS MONEY CRUNCH ECONOMY IS A SCAM! Created by wall street and banking to squeeze the last drops of blood out of (in most cases) honest people....

Is it any wonder why we're seeing more desperate acts by desperate people...resorting to violence and destruction....because they feel they've been crapped on...and when they asked for help...but no body's listening...or they get scammed again by the very same people who put them in this position. Their houses/nest eggs/ “investments” taken in the scam.

I fear for the future of this country....those desperate souls who have been crapped on....and have reached their breaking point...will be the very ones out in the streets of insurrection....looking for blood and revenge on those that have taken everything they possess!
